6. WEIRD MOVIES: THE LOBSTER
If the title wasn’t enough for you, The Lobster is truly a weird story. In this odd flick, Colin Farrel plays a newly single man in a futuristic society that views single people as undesirable. Hence, every single person gets sent to the “Hotel” where they have 45 days to find a partner. If they fail, though, they get transformed into an animal of their choosing. We can only guess what Clin Farrel picks.
7. WEIRD MOVIES: RUN LOLA RUN
Are you looking for a fast-paced, fun and mostly weird film? If so, look no further than Run Lola Run. the Tom Tykwer film has amazing music and animation. It’s just a good-time movie but certainly strange as well.
8. WEIRD MOVIES: FRANK
Frank is an incredibly strange movie. The main character, Frank, is a leader of this unique band and he has a huge head. No, that doesn’t mean he is overconfident or anything like that. He actually has a really big head. It’s a weird flick but you just might like it.
9. WEIRD MOVIES: THE ICE STORM
What do you get when you combine Ang Lee, Elijah Wood, and Sigourney Weaver? Apparently, you get The Ice Storm. Set in the 1970s, this intense drama is equal parts entertaining and equal parts weird.
10. WEIRD MOVIES: LARS AND THE REAL GIRL
You know Ryan Gosling from the anti-weird romance The Notebook. However, it seems Gosling is going weird in this 2007 film Lars and the Real Girl. Don’t worry, it’s still a charming love story. However, the leading lady is a blow-up doll, so consider that before you turn on the tube with the kids.
